Scraplift #41 is Abbysmommy!! UPDATED

Here it is...the last scraplift before the new format!!! I can't wait to unveil all the fun I have planned for this year, but right now, let's pay attention to the matter at hand: this adorable sweet layout by Amy, abbysmommy!

Here's the link to her layout at DST so you can go give her luvs!!!:

Out of Sorts

I was drawn to this layout because of the inventive way she journalled down the side of the photo and that wonderful, moody expressive photo!!! I love the doodles, the stitched down journaling tags and the stitching!!

Let's have some fun with this one - and as always, link me to your layouts when you're done!!!!

Here they are, the last of the lifts of 2006 and the last as this incarnation of the scraplift blog. I hope you join us at our new home: http://pachimactoo.typepad.com/lift_twists/
Here's mine!!! I used Ronna Penner's Fresh Breeze Kit, Shabby Miss Jenn's background, Jessica Spragues Echoes of Asia for the frame and Gina Cabrera Book Bag Essentials for the Dream swatch - recolored. I think this has wound up to be one of my most favorite layouts!!!!!

This insanely adorable layout comes from Emily Powers: On January 2nd, Addy was 18 months; seriously, where is the time going?!?! Journaling Reads:

You love the book Doggies by Sandra Boynton.
You just started saying "Pease" and "Tan U."
Your favorite foods are dill pickles and cheese.
To Do: Playdough, Blocks, and The Backyardigans.

Credits: Shabby Miss Jenn --Paris Flea Market and Mia's Room. This layout uses both of those kits. The stitching, polaroid and labels (recolored) are from her previous kits. You can find SMJ's super chic stuff at Shabby Miss Jenn Designs!

Fonts: FG Freja and 1942 Report

Can this sweet baby be any cuter????? I love the sweet colors she uses and that picture is TDF!! This is Sunshine's entry...

This tearjerker is by Karen - the most prolific scrapper I know!!! Credits: ~* Strong by Amanda Rockwell at Sweet Shoppe Designs *~

Journaling = This is the moment that it hit me. There was something missing. My arms were a little lighter, yet my heart was heavier. I’ve been so used to having to keep an eye on 2 little ones at the same time. I’ve been so used to pushing 2 on the swings. I’ve been so used to trying to get both of you in photos. And this is the moment that it hit me that I would no longer be able to witness your every waking moment. It was a big change when you were born with the constant care. Now that you’re older and don’t require my constant attention – that separation is a big change…it is a big change for me.

Elaina did this one - and I didn't get a credits email so I will get it from her, but here's her cutie Lily! I love the sandals - so cute!!!

I erased the email and didn't get the artist's name for this one - if it's you please email me with your name!! She says, "My daughter took this photo of dh and I just before we went tout New Years Eve to a movie and dinner with friends. I thought this kit of Tracy Anns had the perfect color and I love the glitter to make it a bit more festive! Happy New Year Everybody!!! May you all be happy, healthy and prosperous!! TFL!!"

This wonderful two pager is from Julie!!

The journaling talks about Hayli being scared to climb down the tires at the park. She has cerebral palsy and it has effected the right side of her body. She doesn't use her right hand unless she is constantly reminded to do so, which you can see in the first picture. But with a little persuading she made the whole way down herself, using both hands!
