ScrapLift #16 Is So Touching!!!! UPDATED

I have found the next scraplift, Tea for Three, by nwallace. This is what she says about her layout: "I surprised my girls last summer with a tea party set up in the back yard after they woke up from their naps....they are always being lugged around to my ds sporting events and wanted to do something EXTRA SPECIAL for them. oldest daughter was so excited she almost cried! lol...i will always remember the look on her face...and my youngest's when she started dipping her pickle in the tea. i have been holding onto them..i am happy with the results! this poloroid alpha is so cool!!! *alpha, purple, pink papers are from mandabean at sweet shoppe designs* pin from zazou, stitches and overlay from shabby princess, flowers from taran c."

I absolutely ADORE this layout - the flowers, the alpha - the pictures and the theme. You must be a GREAT Mommy - the thoughtfulness of this gift made ME cry!!!!

Here's the link to see it at 2Peas and comment if you feel inspired to do so:

Tea for Three, by nwallace

Okay - here are the lifts that I got. I was kinda bummed that we didn't get more lifts of this one - but the people who want to do them - and we had two great ones!! :-)

Here's mine: Gosh do I love this layout we scraplifted!!! Another layout of the day we went to tea. I used Ronna Penner's Pearl Necklace from A New Day, ribbon colorized purple from Elegant Wedding, and messy stitches from Fresh Breeze, Shabby Princess for the purple background from Misty Morning and purple flower from her Paper Flower Collection. , Gina Cabrera for her Kraft Background paper from Pretty in Camo, Jen Wilson's White Ink Overlay from Simple Sophistication, Gina Miller's heart from her Sweater Collection

I made the alpha myself inspired totally by the original used in the lift by manda bean of Sweet Shoppe Design - but I wanted a different color and font so I made them myself.

Fonts: Chelt Press and Modavian condensed.

This one is from Betty Jo: I created this LO for Susan's Scraplift #16 at her wonderful blog Digi-Scraplift Fun. The original layout, Three for Tea, was created by N. Wallace at 2 Peas. I didn't have any tea party photos so decided to go with this series instead. Recently I was snapping photos of my older granddaughter. I began to hear, "Click!" "Click!" near by. I turned to find my almost-two-year-old granddaughter mocking me with her tiny toy camera. Of course I then began shooting her. She was so cute shooting right back at me.

SL #15 Is a Real Challenger!!! UPDATED

This layout is by Kerrin Quall, who used the Flip-flops range of embellishments. Journaling in the file folders.

I just saw this layout and was IMMEDIATELY drawn to the mix of black and white and color pictures and the use of a little bit of everything and having it not overwhelm the design or the pictures!!!

I know we can't do the journaling under the file folders unless we want to do an altered layout - but we can sure do the rest of it!!!!!

I think we can really challenge ourselves with this one!

If you get a chance, browse Kerrin's gallery - you will be amazed at what she does.

So here we go - THE LIFTS!!!!

this one's my entry - and it's fast becoming my favorite of the lifts I did so far! I used Gina Cabrera for most of it - the ribbons, the background and cross stitches from her new Daydreams kit, I made the file folders with a brush and eraser from one of her backgrounds from the Shabby Shoppe, Dymo letters from Exuberant, beautiful tag from Wallflower Kit, letters and blessing tag from Forever Grateful. I used Ronna Penner's stitches from Essential Notions Stitches. I made the vellum flowers! :-) Font; MA Sexy

Amber says this about her layout: "Here is my loose version - and you were right. . .that was challenging!  It took me a bit longer than I planned - but I am pretty pleased with how it turned out.  Thanks for the fun challenges.  I like already having an idea for a page and not trying to create one from scratch! =) Credits:  Bg paper and some of the ribbons, the flowers, and ric rac from Michelle Underwood - I'm yours kit.  Some of the ribbon from Shabby Princess - sweet sprinkles kit.  Flower doodle (recolored) from Sarah carling as well as some of the ribbons from MishMash collection kit. Font - dinerdotcom, and annie btn, alpha (3) and brackets also from Michelle Underwood's I'm Yours kit.  =)

Here's Janna's: J Thanks you for such good inspriation....I attached my SL Pictures of all 4 of my girls 1-2006 I used Heather Ann's kit from Shabby Princess dot com, called True Love, Font=DonnysHand.

I used Vintage Artistry kit from SS Digital Scrapbook #4, Jen Wilson paper for the background. Fonts are Scriptina and SharonsHand. Poem reads "A family is like a patchwork quilt with kindness gently sewn. Each piece is an original with beauty of its own. With threads of warmth and happiness, it is tightly stitched together to last in love throughout the years. Our family is forever."

Robyn says: "This was a fun one! I've wanted to do these pictures for a long time, but couldn't come up with a way to use so many on page. This was perfect for it! Stitches are by Gina Miller. Flowers (recolored) are by Jen Wilson & Taran Conyers. Acrylic letters are from Michelle Coleman. The font is Garamond."

Colleen says: "What a great original - I decided to skip the folders. I might use this as Ben's first birthday invite. I put a black line around the edge, but for some reason it's not showing up. Oh well. Credits: Patterned paper by Sarah Batdorf (Candy); happy button by Katie Pertiet (Happy Together); "he", authentic sticker and duct tape by Jen Wilson (A Real Boy and Boyish Charm); stitching (recolored) by Shabby Princess (Splendid). ScrapLift #13 - Love-o-Saurus, Baby!!! UPDATED

Oh Mrs SHMUCK - Digscraplift #13 is your Lucky Number!!!

I fell in LOVE with this kit when I saw it over at the Sweet Shoppe Designs Shop and I didn't have the money to buy it then. I went on my own merry way and as I was scouring the PeaNut Gallery for a new scraplift - lo and behold the one layout that just SCREAMED "Look at me" happened to be make with the same kit - Robin Carlton and Manda Bean's Love-O-Saurus Kit!!! You can purchase it here: The Sweet Shoppe

Dang - now I HAVE to find the money to buy this kit somehow!! LOL

You can see it here at 2 Peas - give her some Pea praise!! Giggles

Anyways - I chose this for our scraplift because it makes great use of the white space, it has a lot of fun angles and a great picture too! The spray of buttons can be changed to anything...and I think this will be a very fun layout to work with!!!

Go at it girls!

I was pretty surprised when I only got 5 entries for this scraplift. I really thought that this one would garner tons of responses!! Oh well - the one's I got are just so CUTE!!! I love them!! Here we go:

This Adorable set is "Love-O-Saurus", buy Manda Bean and Robin Carlton, available at Sweet Shoppe Designs.

Melissa liked this layout so much that she admits she fully lifted it!! "I pretty much copied the layout because it was so cute - not even much of my own spin! I used Holly McCaig's Bubble Flip kit." Even tho she says she copied it - this layout has a total flair and personality all it's own!!
